Mysuru: An elderly lady, who was living with her mentally-challenged son lost her house due to heavy rains that lashed the city yesterday. The woman and son are homeless now and local residents have appealed the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials to provide her relief as they have nowhere to go.
Local residents who telephoned Star of Mysore this morning said that heavy rains lashed Gandhinagar yesterday and most of the roads and drains were clogged. At Ward 41 near the Annamma Temple Second Cross, the rains brought down the house of Alphonse Mary, an elderly lady living with her 30-year-old mentally-challenged son.
