Mysore: The Railways have agreed to abide by the Heritage norms for the City Railway Station work that also have to be followed like other heritage structures in the city.
The Railway officials, who attended the District Heritage Committee meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhiram G. Sankar at the Court Hall of the DC office this morning, gave this assurance in which MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag, Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage Deputy Director Nirmala Matapathi, Heritage Committee Members Prof. N.S. Rangaraju, Major General S.G. Vombatkere (Retd.) and others, officials of the K.R. Hospital Government Ayurveda College and Hospital, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, DCP M. Muthuraj and others participated.
