Mysuru: Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, as part of this year’s Christmas Season, held a cake-mixing ceremony at its premises in city recently. The hotel guests, staff members and select invitees gathered together to prepare a delicious mixture for the annual Christmas cake. Living up to this memorable British tradition, scores of dry fruits like cherries, dates, plums and cashewnuts were mixed with sugary sweet batter by the participants. “This mixture will be fermented till Christmas to bring out another set of delicious cakes,” said Abhilash, Sous Chef of the hotel. “What makes our events special when it comes to celebrating every occasion, is the homage we pay to its tradition. Christmas always has been a festival that succeeds in spreading joy by bringing people together. And what better ceremony is there where a community can come together, participate and bond over activities like these,” said General Manager B. Harikumar.
