In order to collect reliable traffic information, which is a key factor in land use, the Public Works Department (PWD) will be conducting a week-long Road Traffic Survey on State Highways passing through Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts from Feb.19 to 26. The Department will be setting up vehicle count centres at select points on the Highways during this period. All the motorists and vehicle drivers passing through the Highways are appealed to slow down at the count centres for an accurate conduct of the survey, according to PWD Superintending Engineer B.R. Veerabhadraiah.
