Mysore/Mysuru: The Management of Kodava Samaja, Mysuru, has decided to celebrate Puthari Namme-2022 at the Samaja premises in Vijayanagar on Dec. 7. In the previous years, the harvest festival used to be celebrated at Sree Cauvery School premises in Kuvempunagar.
This year's celebrations will commence at 6 pm in the Samaja premises. All traditional dances of Kodavas will be performed during Puthari Namme. Kadh (paddy sheaf) will be distributed by Samaja volunteers to all those present. Thambutt prasada distribution is cancelled.
