Mysuru: Champaka Educational and Cultural Trust, Mysuru, has organised the ‘Pushya’ edition of Champaka Rashtreeya Kalaa Utsava on Pushya Bahula Panchami today (Jan. 18) at 5.30 pm at Champaka Sabhangana, Champaka Academy premises in Ramakrishnanagar, showcasing Bharatanatyam performances by accomplished artistes.
The evening will start with a Bharatanatyam performance by Vidu. Jyothi N. Hegde and her disciples trained at Lasyaranjana Nrutya Shale. Performances by disciples of Karnataka Kalatilaka Guru Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy will follow to enthral the audience. These students are trained by her under her prestigious institution Vasundhara Performing Arts Centre (VPAC), Mysuru.
