PU admissions from May 22

The Department of Pre-University Education on Wednesday revised the academic schedule of PUC for the year 2023-24, according to which the admission process will commence from May 22 and classes will start from June 1, 2023. The Department had earlier issued the 2023-24 academic year schedule on Apr. 6. But now it has issued a revised order considering administrative and academic issues. According to the revised schedule, the admission process (for both 1st and 2nd PU) will commence from May 22. First term of the new academic calendar (for both 1st and 2nd PU) will be held from June 1 to Oct.13. Second academic term will be from Oct. 30 to Feb. 29, 2024. Mid-term holidays will be from Oct. 14 to 29. Second term will commence from Oct. 30. Last working day of the 2023-2024 academic year is Mar. 30, 2024 and summer holidays will commence from Mar. 31.
