Prosthetic devices for senior citizens

Under the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana, the office of the District Disabled Welfare Officer has invited applications from physically challenged, hearing and visually impaired senior citizens belonging to BPL category for providing physical aids and assisted living devices. The devices will be provided by Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) under the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, after a physical check. The senior citizens, who are in need of prosthetic devices, can register their names at the office of the District Disabled Welfare Officer, Pulikeshi Road, Tilaknagar, Mysuru.
