With the Civil Services (preliminary) exam conducted by the UPSC scheduled to take place at 16 centres across the city on June 2, the City Police have clamped prohibitory orders in 200 mts radius around all the exam centres from 6 am to 6 pm on June 2. The prohibitory orders have been clamped under Section 35 of the Karnataka Police Act and accordingly no unauthorised person, except the exam staff and candidates, will be allowed inside the centres. Carrying objectionable articles is strictly banned, according to a release.
