With the Karnataka Higher Secondary Education Examination Board (KHSEEB) scheduled to conduct Computer Education Exams at the District Education and Training Institute (DIET), Vasanth Mahal in the city from Feb. 26 to Mar. 3, the City Police have issued prohibitory orders in 200- mts radius of the Exam centre (DIET) from 6 am to 6 pm on all days from Feb. 26 to Mar. 3. The Police have invoked Section 35 of the Karnataka Police Act to promulgate the prohibitory orders for ensuring smooth conduct of the exam. The order is also meant for preventing any malpractices and other illegal activities during the Exam, according to a press release issued by the Office of the City Police Commissioner.
