Mysuru: The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, is organising a one-week AICTE - ISTE Refresher Programme on Design of Machine Elements from July 2 to 7 for the faculty members of engineering colleges. This refresher programme on “Design of Machine Elements” has been planned to impart knowledge on the basic concepts, governing laws, principles, and applications of design engineering.
Resource persons are Dr. Kasthurirangan, Dr. D.V. Girish, Dr. T. Jayaraju, Dr. B.K. Sridhara, Dr. G.C. Mohan Kumar, Dr. S.L. Ajith Prasad, Dr. C. V. Venkatesh, Dr. B. Suresha, Dr. G. B. Krishnappa, Dr. Keerthi Prasad and Sridhar Gatpa. They will speak on the fundamentals of engineering design, design of shafts, keys, flexible machine elements, gears, screws, joints, couplings, cryogenic systems and son on.
