Mysore/Mysuru: Following allegations of misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs. 55 crore in the execution of works undertaken by University of Mysore (UoM), the Karnataka State Audit and Accounts Department at Bengaluru has begun probe into the allegations.
In a letter written to the UoM Registrar on Aug. 12, the Department has asked the University authorities to co-operate with the probe. The letter also said that the Department’s Vigilance Cell Head A. R. Parameshwarappa and Accounts Superintendent A.J. Pavithra have been tasked with the conduct of the probe and submit a report.
