Mysuru: A total 13 students of Manasu Kalamandala, Mysuru and Salluhundi branches have excelled at the 2nd State-level Open Karate Championship 2022 organised by Anil Martial Arts Academy, Bengaluru, recently. All the 13 students are trained by Sensei Shankar. Details are as follows:
The 8 students of A Manasu Kalamandala, B.M. Sri Nagar, Mysuru (Main Branch), who won medals are: M. Bhuvan - Kata 1st place and Kumite 2nd place (Under-14 Boys category); N. Deeksha - Kata 2nd and Kumite 2nd (U-12 Girls); N. Guru Kiran - Kata 1st and Kumite 2nd (U-15 Boys); Sandeep - Kata 2nd and Kumite 1st (U-11 Boys); Shashank - Kata 2nd and Kumite 2nd (U-14 Boys); M.H. Abhinav - Kata 2nd and Kumite 2nd (U-10 Boys); Yashwanth - Kata 2nd and Kumite 1st (U9 Boys); M. Dhanush - Kata 1st and Kumite 1st (U-12 Boys).
