Mysore/Mysuru: An inmate serving jail term at Mysuru Central Prisons has died of a heart attack yesterday. The deceased is Shivappa (55), a resident of Lalanakere in Mandya taluk. Accused in a murder case, he was convicted one-and-a-half years ago and was serving the jail term at Mysuru Prisons.
Yesterday afternoon, he complained of severe chest pain and the Prison staff rushed him to K.R. Hospital, where he breathed his last at about 3 pm yesterday. He leaves behind a son and a daughter.
