The head-on collisions between two-wheelers is frequently being reported in and around Mysuru city. The latest in the series happened on July 14 this year when a scooter and bike collided head-on near Ayarahalli and one person succumbed to serious injuries (SOM dated July 16). A similar accident resulted in a rider’s death on June 22 this year when two bikes collided on New Kantharaja Urs Road near the Railway Underbridge in K.G. Koppal (SOM dated June 24). The riders of two bikes were killed, and a pillion sustained serious injuries in a ghastly accident on H. D. Kote-Hunsur Road on Mar.5, 2020.
