Udupi: After inaugurating the first phase of ‘Namma Metro’ in Bengaluru on Saturday last (June 17), President Pranab Mukherjee yesterday visited the temple towns of Udupi and Kolluru. In Udupi, the President laid the foundation stone for Shambhu Shetty Memorial Haji Abdullah Super Speciality Hospital in Udupi and visited the famous Sri Krishna Temple.
On his visit to the temple, he was received by District in-Charge Minister Pramod Madhwaraj and Udupi City Municipal Council President Meenakshi Madhava Bannanje and Udupi DC Priyanka Mary Francis.
