Mysuru: The heritage buildings like Devaraja Market and Lansdowne buildings in the city must be preserved at any cost. Otherwise the tag that Mysuru called the Heritage City will have no meaning, said Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, wife of late royal scion Srikanta Datta Narasimharaja Wadiyar.
She was addressing the issue, when a delegation from Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) led by Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath met her yesterday at the Mysore Palace to seek her cooperation for Mysuru regaining top spot as the Cleanest City in the country as part of Swachh Survekshan.
