The Kannada and Culture Department will be holding a preliminary meeting tomorrow (Jan. 9) at the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) Office in city to discuss the celebration of various Jayanthis in the month of January. The meeting will be chaired by ADC Dr. B.S. Manjunathaswamy. Discussion on Mahayogi Vemana Jayanthi will be at 10.30 am and about Sri Shivayogi Siddeshwara Jayanthi at 11 am, according to Department Assistant Director Dr. M.D. Sudarshan.
