The Kannada and Culture Department will hold a preliminary meeting at Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) Office on Feb. 7 to discuss celebrations of various Jayantis. The preliminary meeting to discuss about Sevalal Jayanti will be held at 11 am which will be followed by discussions related to Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti celebrations at 11.20 am and Sarvajna Jayanti at 11.40 am. The meeting will be chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) R. Lokanath, according to a press release from Kannada and Culture Department Assistant Director Dr. M.D. Sudarshan.
