The D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation has invited applications from eligible students (boys and girls) belonging to SC/ST communities and also from those belonging to Backward Class Categories -1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B for admission to pre-matric boys and girls student hostels run by the Department at Nanjangud town, Hullahalli, Kappasoge, Kudlapura, Kasuvinahalli, Hemmaragala and Tagadur in the taluk.
The admission is open for students studying in classes from 6th to 10th standards in Government recognised Schools. The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Hostel Wardens and the filled in forms must be submitted along with the required documents before Oct.11, according to a press release.
