Bengaluru: Member of the erstwhile royal family Pramoda Devi Wadiyar has urged the State Government to stop illegal mining at Baby Betta land in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district and has asked the Government to issue Khatha for the 1,500 odd acres in her name as it is a private property belonging to Wadiyar family.

Meeting Chief Secretary K. Ratna Prabha at the Vidhana Soudha yesterday, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar also told her that Doddakere Maidan in front of the Karnataka Exhibition Authority in Mysuru also belonged to the royal family and even the Courts have given favourable judgements to the royal family.
