Mysore/Mysuru: Stating that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai should fulfil his promise made on their demands, which chiefly included regularisation of service of direct payment MCC Pourakarmikas, Pourakarmika Association State President Narayana warned of re-staging indefinite stir if the demands are not met by Dasara.
Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here, Narayana, who is also a former Mysuru Mayor, said that MCC Pourakarmikas and Pourakarmikas serving in Urban Local Bodies across the State had launched an indefinite stir from July 1 seeking regularisation of service and fulfilment of other demands. Following the stir, CM Bommai held a meeting with Pourakarmika leaders, during which the CM promised to meet nine of their demands.
