Mysuru: In an unusual administrative lapse, over 200 students of Yuvaraja’s College in Mysuru are facing uncertainty as the dispatch of their Transfer Certificates (TCs) has been delayed due to a shortage of postal stamps. The delay has affected students who have secured admissions to various institutions for higher studies, with several colleges now demanding TCs for admission formalities.
As per Government regulations, TCs cannot be handed over directly to students and must be sent to the respective colleges by post upon receiving official requests. However, Yuvaraja’s College has been unable to send the documents, citing non-availability of postal stamps — a situation that has persisted for over three months since results were announced.
