Indian Postal Department’s Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme 2020-21 series is open for subscription from Mar. 1 to Mar. 5. Interested customers can visit the nearest Post Office to invest in SGB scheme. Minimum subscription is one gram and maximum is 4 kg for individuals, 4 kg for Hindu Undivided Family and 20 kg for trusts and similar entities for one fiscal year. The Bond tenure is 8 years with exit option after 5th, 6th or 7th year. On maturity, an amount equivalent to the market price of gold is given.
