Post-matric hostel admissions: Last date extended till Jan. 3

The Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD), Mysuru Taluk/ District, which had invited online applications for admission to its post-matric hostel from new students belonging to Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and other communities, has extended the last date to Jan. 3 for the year 2021-22. The annual income of the parents should be below Rs. 2.50 lakh for Category-1 and SC/ ST candidates and below Rs. 1 lakh for those belonging to Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other Backward Classes. Interested eligible candidates must apply online by logging on to www.bcwd. karnataka.gov.in. For taluk-wise hostel details, eligibility criteria and for government order, visit the above website.
