The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited applications from eligible boy and girl students (only degree students) from Backward Classes belonging to Categories 1, 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b and SC/ST communities for new admission to post-matric student hostels run by the Department in all districts of the State.
The annual income of parents of students belonging to Category-1 and SC/ST communities should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh and that of parents of students belonging to Categories 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b should not exceed Rs.1 lakh.
