The Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD), Nanjangud taluk, has invited online applications from students belonging to Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and other communities for admission to its post-matric girls and boys hostels. The annual income of the parents should be below Rs. 2.5 lakh for Category-1 and SC/ ST candidates while for Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other backward classes it must be not more than Rs. 1 lakh. Eligible candidates must apply online by logging on to https://bcwd.karnataka.gov.in/english before July 15. If any technical issue arises while applying online, candidates may send e-mail to: bcwd.hostels@karnataka.gov.in.
