The District Officer of the Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD), Mysuru, has invited online applications for admission to its post-matric hostels. Students belonging to Cate-gory-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and other communities are eligible to apply. The annual income of the family of the candidates belonging to Category-1, SC and ST should be below Rs. 2.5 lakh while for Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other Backward Classes must be not more than Rs. 1 lakh.
Candidates must be aged between 16 and 26 years. Eligible candidates must apply online by logging on to https://bcwd.karnataka.gov.in/english before Nov. 10.
