Mysuru: The Police have made elaborate security arrangements to prevent any untoward incidents during Holi celebrations in city on Mar. 20 and Mar. 21. The Police have deployed adequate personnel and Police Stations have been asked to take up measures to prevent hooligans from creating law and order problem. Forceful application of colour and collection of donation have been banned.
Cops have been directed to keep an eye on people who roam in the streets after consuming liquor and create a nuisance. Revellers have been prevented from splashing colours on girls after entering their paying guest accommodation and girl’s hostel, said a communication from the City Police Commissioner.
