Mysuru: The Mysuru City Police have decided to take action against vehicle owners who have not responded to Field Traffic Violation Report (FTVR) notices served to them by the Traffic Police for violating traffic rules.
A release from the Office of the City Police Commissioner states that by the end of May 20, there were more than 20 traffic violations and more than 7,500 cases of vehicle owners not paying the fine despite notices served to them and hence, the Police have decided to seize such vehicles. A special drive is being conducted in this regard and the Police will visit the houses of such vehicle owners for inspection. The City Police Commissioner has instructed the public, who have been served FTVR notices to pay the fines at their nearest Traffic Police Station and avoid further action against them.
