Mysore/Mysuru: Following publication of the news item titled ‘Rust In Peace: Public outcry against negligence of Police Department’ in Star of Mysore yesterday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) - Crime and Traffic, M.S. Geetha Prasanna, has got the 12 metal barricades removed from the roadside besides issuing a clarification.
According to the report, a dozen of metal barricades, reportedly belonging to the Police Department, were left on the Ring Road to rust and the public had accused the Police Department of wasting tax-payers’ money. These metal barricades were found on the roadside near Adarsh Nagar on Dattagalli Ring Road route since many months.
