Marking the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has given a call to completely ban usage of single-use plastic in the country, South Western Railway (SWR), Mysuru Division, has embarked on a drive on Sept.17 to clear plastic from railway area. Senior Railway officials, employees, their family members, Railway pensioners, labour organisations, Scouts and Guides, students and Self-Help Groups will join hands to clear Railway Station area, tracks and other places of plastic.
