Mysuru: The Ursu Mandali Sangha has appealed the Government to name Mysore Airport after Rajarshi Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar. In a press release, the Sangha said that people very well know the enormous contributions of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar and other erstwhile Mysore rulers for the development and welfare of the State. As such the Union and State Governments should seriously consider naming Mysore Airport at Mandakalli after Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar as a tribute to the erstwhile ruler, the release stated.
