It’s a very exciting day for the people of Shivamogga as the new Shivamogga-Yesvantpur Jn Jan Shatabdi Express chugged off recently, a low cost, speedy and luxury boon for the people. I would like to request the Railways to provide the same speedy service between Bengaluru and Mysuru, by either extending this new train to Mysuru as a rake sharing arrangement or providing other alternatives.
The reason behind this is, the existing facility 12007/08 Shatabdi Express, is getting little crowded specially from Mysuru, with majority passengers boarding down at KSR Bengaluru City Station. Also, the quite affordable and reasonable fare between the two cities has resulted in the train getting slowly crowded and the train growing longer as time passes on. So providing this Jan Shatabdi like service between Mysuru and Bengaluru will not only be a boon to Mysureans, but also another alternative semi-luxury train service for the existing Shatabdi Express which may reduce the burden.
On behalf of the train travellers, I hereby request the Railway officials to provide a positive solution.
