All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, has organised a Facebook live Phone-in programme on Apr.1 between 2 pm and 3 pm on the topic “Autism and Sensory Integration.” Every year 2nd April is celebrated as World Autism Awareness Day. As a part of World Autism Awareness Day-2022 with the theme “Leave No One Behind”, this live phone-in programme will focus on creating awareness and acceptance about Autism, support services for individuals with Autism through various therapies, especially sensory integration therapy, and inclusion in education and workplace. Also a mother of an adult with autism will share her journey of 25 years with various professionals in seeking support services.
