H.G. Vinodkumara has been awarded Ph.D in Geography by the University of Mysore (UoM) for his thesis ‘The Problems and Prospects of Development of Sustainable Tourism in Southern Karnataka with Special Reference to Bird Sanctuaries’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. H.K. Kamala.

Vijaya Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Gandhian Studies by the UoM for his thesis ‘Mahatma Gandhijiyavara Grama Swaraj Parikalpaneyalli Grama Sabalikaranadalli Panchayathi Abhivrudhi Adhikarigala Paatra, Visheshavagi Chamarajanagara Jilleya Adhyayana’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Bharati Hiremath.
