Dr. Ajay Attiguppe Prabhakar has been awarded Ph.D from IIT Madras (IITM), Chennai, for his thesis ‘Development of a polymer-based integrated transdermal drug delivery system’ submitted under the guidance of Prof. Dhiman Chatterjee of Mechanical Engineering and Prof. Amitava Das Gupta of Electrical Engineering Departments of IITM, Chennai. An alumnus of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala (SRKVS) in Mysuru, Nutana College in Davangere, PES Institute of Technology (PESIT) in Bengaluru and National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, Dr. Ajay is the son of Dr. A.R. Prabhakar and Dr. K.R. Chatura and is the grandson of late Attiguppe Chayakanth Setty of Mysuru.
