The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Agribusiness to Chaitra Bharath for her thesis on the topic “A Study on the Effect of Personality Traits on the Buying Behaviour of Organic Food Consumers” under the guidance of Dr. H.M. Chandrashekar. She is an Agri graduate from University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore and holds a PGDABM from National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad. She currently is the Lead Programme Coordinator (India) for Agribusiness Academy (UK), the leading online learning provider in Agribusiness space. She also has been teaching MBA in Agribusiness Management at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Mysore, for the past 5 years. She is the daughter of Agriculture Scientist Dr. Vasanth Kumar Thimakapura and Vaasanthi V. Kumar, Managing Director of Green Lifescience Technologies.
