Mysore/Mysuru: Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (IIET), in association with The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and Khel Tamasha, is set to present an engaging masterclass titled ‘Rasas & Bhavas - The Language of Emotions’ as part of the People’s United Dialogues - Masterclass Series.
The session will be conducted by renowned Kathakali actor and teacher Prasobh Kalamandalam, who brings deep expertise in Indian classical performance traditions. The masterclass will explore the profound concepts of Rasa and Bhava, central to Indian aesthetics, focusing on embodied expression and the transformation of emotion into artistic experience.
The event will take place at the IIET premises, Hardwicke School Campus, JLB Road, Mysuru, on Apr. 1 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
The programme is part of an ongoing initiative to foster dialogue, creativity and cultural exchange through the performing arts. The event is presented by Rajneesh Bisht, Project Director of People’s United Dialogues.
