Mysuru: The 52nd Annual Day celebrations of All India Institute Speech and Hearing (AIISH) was held at its premises in Manasagangothri here this morning. Inaugurating the programme, Dr. R. Venkata Rao, Vice-Chancellor, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, opined that teaching was a very noble profession. He said that people with any physical impairment should be treated with dignity and respect. Speaking as the chief guest, Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Founder, Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM), opined that higher education was not very effective in India.
