Parimala Murthy (71), wife of C.S. Krishnamurthy (retd. Head Master, Sarvajanika High School, Belakwadi, Mandya), passed away this morning at a private hospital following a brief illness. She leaves behind her husband, sons Arvind and Vishwas, daughters-in-law Jayashree and Tarini, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She had served as Secretary of Mahila Sadana, Mysuru and as President of the women’s wing of Badaganadu Balaga, Mysuru. Last rites will be performed this evening at the foot of the Chamundi Hill.
