Mysore/Mysuru: Urging the Government to announce 2A Category reservation for Panchamasali Lingayats and other sub-sects such as Gowda Lingayat, Maalegowda Lingayat and Deeksha Lingayat, the Panchamasali Lingayat Samaja will launch a over one-month 'Pratigna Panchayat' from Aug. 26 to Sept. 30 across the State.
Announcing this at a press meet here on Monday, Koodalasangama Panchamasali Mutt Seer Sri Basava Jayamrutyunjaya Swamiji said that the campaign to seek 2A Category reservation (Pratigna Panchayat) will be launched atop M.M. Hills in Hanur taluk of Chamarajanagar district at 10 am on Aug. 26.
