On account of Lok Sabha polls to take place in Mysuru-Kodagu and 13 other Constituencies of the State on Apr. 26, the Mysuru Industries Association (MIA) has urged all industrial, commercial and other business establishments to declare Apr. 26 as a paid holiday for workers. In a press release, the Association said that the Election Commission and the Labour Department has directed all industrial, commercial and other establishments to declare paid holiday on Apr. 26. As such, the establishments should follow the direction and declare Apr. 26 as a paid holiday for workers so as to enable them to exercise their franchise.
