The Department of Health and Family Welfare has issued a warning to all vendors at hotels, bar and restaurants, cinema halls and darshinis, who have been selling the packed drinking water bottles at a higher price. The Department has said that customers have to be provided with ISI-approved quality packed drinking water bottle at lower price and also warned of strict action as per Food Safety and Standards Act, according to the press release from Food Safety Officer Dr. Chidambara.
