P. Gopalakrishna Thanthri (75) passed away at his son’s residence in Bengaluru this morning after a brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, a son and a daughter. He was Comptroller in Brook Bond India Ltd. and later in Hindustan Lever. He served as Treasurer in Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Jayalakshmipuram, Mysuru and has rendered yeoman service in the development of the Mutt.
