Mysuru: A Lecture on ‘X-ray and Crystallography - An overview’ was organised by the Physics Department of NIE-IT, for the first year Engineering students at the college premises recently. It was held as part of a lecture series programme titled SPECTRUM – A special activity forum of the Department.
Dr. S. Naveen, Professor, Jain School of Engineering and Technology, Bengaluru, in his lecture highlighted the sole importance of XRD (X-ray powder diffraction) techniques and its applications in the field of drug design and imparted training to students about the various bio-molecular crystal structures.
