Mysuru: The Oriental Research Institute (ORI), an affiliated institution of the University of Mysore, has been conferred with the prestigious Vedapeetha Award for the year 2025, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to oriental studies and research.
The award was presented by Sri Bhandarikeri Matha, Udupi, at a ceremony held on May 9, 2025, in Belagavi. ORI Director Dr. D.P. Madhusudhanacharya received the award on behalf of the institute. The honour includes a citation and a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh.
