Mysuru: “Oral health is an integral part of general health. As the mouth is the gateway of the body, all the infections in the mouth can get carried into the body increasing the risk of many systemic problems,” said Dr. Pratibha Garla, Joint Secretary of Indian Dental Association (IDA), Mysuru Branch.
She was delivering a talk on ‘Guide to Dental Health Care’ organised by Institution of Engineers India (IEI) at its premises on JLB Road here recently and explained the various dental health problems faced by people.
