Mysuru: Central Food Technological Research Institute’s Chief Scientist K.S.M.S. Raghava Rao has been appointed as the new Director of the Institute. Raghava Rao, 58, was the Chief Scientist of Department of Food Engineering. He graduated from Andhra University, Vizag with a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and Ph.D from ICT, Mumbai. He did his post doctoral research in NIST, Boulder, USA and Sabbatical Research in University of Colorado. Earlier, Jitendra J. Jadhav, Director of Bengaluru-based National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), had been given the additional charge of CFTRI as its Director.
