Mandya: One person was killed and two others were injured when the auto-rickshaw they were travelling in, hit a pig in Nagamanagala Taluk of the district on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Madesh (30), a solar plant worker, while the two injured passenger, whose identity is not yet known are being treated at AIMS Hospital at Bellur. The three were travelling in the auto on Nagamanagala-Manya road, when the auto hit a wild pig that suddenly appeared near Devalapura Hand Post. Due to the impact of the collision, Madesh was killed on the spot, it is learnt. Nagamanagala Rural Police have registered a case in this regard.
